My first article in Danish (well, translated …)

Today, Hartvig Wagner, one of the editors of the Danish magazine of biblical archaeology “Tel“, which is put out the by Danish “Selskab for Bibelsk Arkaeologi” (Danish for Society for Biblical Archaeology), sent me the most recent issue of “Tel” and in it there were two articles on Tell es-Safi/Gath. The first one, by me (!! in Danish!! - I guess translated …) about the site, and a second short one, telling how to visit the tell and to volunteer.
There were some nice pictures and explanations about the tell, although a 8th century BCE Judean figurine (from our Stratum A2) was labeled as a 10th-9th cent. figurine.

I do hope that all the Danish volunteers who will be joining the dig this summer will realize that I’m not fluent in Danish - slet ikke! (not at all in Danish)…
