Visit to site – assessing the vandalism

Today, I had a chance to quickly visit part of Tell es-Safi with a small group. Although in fact, some of the signs that were put up were vandalized (some more extensively, some less), the ones that I saw were not that bad (although I did not go up to the top of the tell and see what is happening there). Thus, I hope, either the damage has been partly fixed, or the initial reports were a bit exagerated – thank god!
