A view of a flock of sheep grazing next to Tell es-Safi/Gath in the winter

Oren Ackermann, project geomorphologist, took a great clip yesterday (26/2/12) of a flock of sheep grazing at the base of Tell es-Safi/Gath (just to the norther of the tell). Notice how lush and green the area looks – quite different from the summer view.
As Oren wrote to me – this is Safi – not Switzerland…
