Today, Assaf, who will be the Major Domo in the 2013 season, came to visit the lab and brought along with him a tray full of the cutest little furry mice!!!! (he works at using animals to teach school kids)
Here they are – very cute (thankfully, he made sure that he took them all when he left…)
Now we have to think of a way of doing experiments with mice related to archaeology… :-)

Maybe you could attach a small wireless camera to one and let it explore in places you can’t normally reach.
Only problem is that we will find a lot of cheese…
Now you can say that you really do have lab rats!
