Yesterday, I mentioned that we found a fragment of a jar with the letter “mem” right in the vicinity of the altar. Well today, when pottery was being washed and read, additional fragments of this jar, and inscription (!!!!) were found.
As it is still hard to read, all I can (and will) say at this time is that there are a few more letters, in ink, and it appears to have been written by a proficient hand.
I realize that this is too little information and that many of you are DYING for more details – but as of now, until we have a better idea, that is all…

What would really be astounding is if the letters after the Mem were “AEIR”!
