Removing the altar from Area D

As I mentioned already, yesterday, we removed the altar from Area D, and today, it was moved to Bar-Ilan University.
Since this may be an altar of the Philistine god(dess?) Dagon, one wonders whether Dagon is trying to get back at us – following what was done to him/her in I Samuel 5. When it was brought to BIU and put in the elevator to bring it down to the lab, the elevator doors would not open on the floor on which the lab is situated! Perhaps this is Dagon’s revenge! :-)
