Some Philistine restoration…

In continuation of yesterday’s post on the restoration of EB pottery, here are two pictures of some nice Iron I Philistine pottery on the restoration tables (once again, courtesy of Amit)

Here is a nice bell-shaped bowl (or “deep bowl”) with typical painted decoration.

And here is a beautiful piece of painted “Bichrome” Philistine pottery (or “Philistine 2” according to the new terminology), probably a part of a spouted strainer jug (“beer jug”) or some other closed vessel.
