New page on the BAS blog with video clips about Philistine ritual at Gath

As mentioned previously, Noah Wiener has set up a nice page on the BAS blog “Bible History Daily” with links to various clips relating to the Tell es-Safi/Gath excavations. He has now posted an updated page with links to two clips dealing with Philistine (and Israelite cult), as well as all kinds of other links and resources relating to the dig – check it out!

This is a clip (which I posted about a year ago as well) on the discovery of the horned altar and its significance.

 

And this is a clip (also previously posted) in which I discuss some aspects of Philistine and Israelite cult as seen in the archaeological record, with specific reference to incense.
