Workshop on Macalister’s work in Israel on Dec. 12th, 2012 at the Albright Institute

The official notice on the workshop on R.A.S. Macalister‘s work in Israel in the late 19th and early 20th cent. at various sites will be held this coming December 13th in the afternoon at the Albright Institute in Jerusalem. In the workshop, various scholars will discuss Macalister’s work and its impact until today. Needless to say, there will be a Tell es-Safi/Gath representation, in the form of a paper by Rona and yours truly about Bliss and Macalister’s (mostly horrible…:-)) work at Safi.

Here’s the program:

Should be interesting! (and thanks to Sam Wolff for organizing it)

Should be a fascinating workshop! Sure wish I could be there. Hope you’ll do a follow-up on the workshop after the event.
