New article out on the EB III donkey burial from Area E, Tell es-Safi/Gath

Just got notice that a new article, written by Haskel Greenfield, Itzik Shai and myself has just appeared. The article deals with the EB III donkey burial that we excavated in Area E a few years ago, and discusses the archaeological context, the faunal remains, and the possible social and symbolic meaning of this interesting feature.

The full title is:

Greenfield, H. J., Shai, I., and Maeir, A. M. 2012. Being an “Ass”: An Early Bronze Age Burial of a Donkey from Tell es-Safi/Gath, Israel. Bioarchaeology of the Ancient Near East 6: 21–52.

A pdf of the article can be found online here.

Enjoy!

  2. One day, four months into the courtship, Irina came home all excited because Tony
proposed. A quick research showed that major reverse cell phone lookup
services have a few pricing level. The smashing attribute about
this service is that you can type in any landline phone
number and get complete access to a big database
    of user information.
