Debunking the “Giant Skeleton” Myth

I’m sure many of you have seen reports in various media on the supposed discovery of giant skeletons in archaeological excavations throughout the world (see a collection of these reports here), at times even connected to Goliath and other giant Philistines. In fact, every few months, I get an email asking me about these finds.

Well, in addition to the plain and simple fact that there is no basis to this – see this link to the very interesting article which discusses the psychological background in the public belief in such phenomena.

Very interesting!
