Praises for another Gath – that is Azar Gat

I’m just finishing the excellent book by Azar Gat (of TAU) – “War in Human Civilization” (Oxford 2006), having previously read his equally amazing book “Nations: The Long History and Deep Roots of Ethnicity and Nationalism” (Cambridge, 2013).

What can I say – he clearly brings pride to us Gittites (:-).

He is, without a doubt, one of the most brilliant and broad thinking scholars I’ve ever read. For anyone interested in history, anthropology, archaeology, military history, sociology, political theory, etc. – if you have not read Gat’s books – it’s time to start!
