Congratulations to Vanessa for her new job at the Univ. of Pennsylvania!

Hearty congratulations to Vanessa Workman, core staff member of the Tell es-Safi/Gath Archaeological Project, for her new job at the University of Pennsylvania, which she will be starting this fall (2021).

Here is a description of the job:

Lecturer in Archaeometallurgy at the Center for the Analysis of Archaeological Materials at the Penn Museum and the Near Eastern Languages and Civilization Department at the University of Pennsylvania. Vanessa will be teaching courses on materials and production technologies of ancient metal and working with undergrad and graduate students on research projects related to metal objects and their production from archaeological contexts around the world.

Way to go Vanessa!!! Very well-deserved!
