Today, we had a great workshop on archaeomagnetic dating and related research, which was given by Yoav Vaknin, who is completing his PhD at TAU.
As you may recall, I recently mentioned him as the lead author of a PNAS article on Iron Age II destructions in the southern Levant.
We had a nice crowd, including faculty and students from our department, from the BIU Geography department and various scholars, and of course the Safi staff.
The workshop was a joint activity of the Safi project, the RIAB Minerva Center, and the Ingeborg Rennert Center for Jerusalem Studies.
