Glad to report that the three articles dealing with the lead object from Mount Ebal, have appeared in IEJ.
As mentioned previously, we don’t agree with the original interpretation of this find as a curse tablet, with the earliest known Hebrew inscription. Rather, the possibility that it is a lead fishing weight is suggested, and that there is no inscription on the object (at least with the data that has so far been published)!
