Prof. Shai Davidai, from Columbia, gave a powerful speech during a small demonstration at Columbia. He crushingly accused the president of Columbia University, and other university presidents in the US, of not protecting their Jewish and Israeli students from the hateful talk and actions that are aimed at them by pro-Palestinian activists, particularly after the HAMASisISIS attacks.
The fact that these academic leaders can take a stand and condemn the horrific attack on Oct. 7th, and go out against students who support it, is a moral failure, and indication that their institutions are not safe for Jewish, Israeli and in fact other students!
The president of Columbia University, Minouche Shafik is of Egyptian origin. This is even more disturbing! As someone of Arab roots – she herself should feel how important it is to distance all Arabs (and Muslims) from being identified with the horrors that HAMASisISIS carried out!

Very right. I clearly condemn the massacre committed among Israelis and therefore highly support that western universities likewise condemn Hamas as a terrorist group that must be destroyed.
